Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Insolvency Senior or Supervisor Accountant with experience of corporate and/or personal matters, to join one of Australia's leading firms, based in their Melbourne CBD offices.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation of quality reports
  • Conducting investigations and some forensic accounting
  • Assist with trade-on management
  • Preparation of documents for litigation
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and regulators
  • Financial report analysis
  • Research and analysis

What They Are Looking For:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accountancy, Commerce, Finance, Economics or Law
  • Proven history in Insolvency, working on corporate and/or personal files
  • Ability to understand and apply relevant legislation
  • Desire to commence or continue CA/CPA qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders
  • Proven time management skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Xero, MYOB, Core IPS or Quickbooks
  • Advanced skills in excel and word
